The SOFREL YDRIX is the next-generation modular RTU (Remote Telemetry Unit) from LACROIX Environment, designed specifically for remote management and automation of hydraulic installations. It combines in a single compact DIN rail-mounted device: integrated 4G/3G/2G communication, industrial cybersecurity, and an automation workshop compliant with IEC 61131-3.
The SOFREL YDRIX enables remote control and monitoring of pumps, valves, sensors and any Modbus equipment at the installation. It connects directly to the operator's SCADA system via standard protocols DNP3, IEC-60870-5-104 and IEC-60870-5-101, ensuring full interoperability with any existing supervision platform.
Its Full IP architecture with automatic communication redundancy ensures no data is ever lost: if the primary network (4G) fails, the device automatically switches to the secondary network (Ethernet or vice versa) and recovers the primary link when it becomes available again.
The setIT configuration software enables graphical programming of the device, its modems, Modbus interfaces and I/O — without advanced programming knowledge. For complex projects, the IEC 61131-3 automation workshop offers Ladder, ST, FBD and SFC (Grafcet) languages with simulation tools, online debugging and remote diagnostics.
