GTRI

FloPath GTRI is a multiple-input cellular pressure and flow data logger manufactured by MOBILTEX, a Canadian company specialized in critical infrastructure monitoring. The FloPath brand groups MOBILTEX's pressurized water network monitoring line, formerly marketed as GCRTech, and focuses on reducing Non-Revenue Water (NRW) in distribution networks.

The unit stores data in 2 MB non-volatile Flash memory organized into up to 8 independent data files, each with its own logging parameters. A single input channel can feed several files with different data types (average, instantaneous, minimum and maximum), enabling fast logging such as step testing without interfering with the main 15-minute recordings.

Unlike conventional loggers, the GTRI detects pressure surges and measures minimum night flow more accurately through Pulse Interval Timing (PIT), which analyzes the interval between meter pulses rather than only their count. Its die-cast aluminum enclosure with IP68 protection is fully submersible, and its internal battery provides over 5 years of runtime under normal operation.

Data transmission uses an integrated cellular modem with 4G/5G LTE CAT M1 and NB-IoT options, plus 2G for legacy systems, supporting GPRS and SMS. Configuration, download and graphing are performed with the FPLog software, and local download is carried out through a non-contact IrDA infrared link.
